Uber lost his operational license in London, England. The London transport authority (Transportation for London / TfL) said the lack of corporate responsibility in some cases was the cause of no new permission for Uber in London.

"The company's approach and steps show a lack of responsibility in a number of events that have the potential to impact public safety and security," the TfL statement was quoted as saying by The Verge.

With this decision, Uber will not be able to operate again in London. Previously they only had a license for permission in the duration of four months. They applied for a five-year operating license, but ironically rejected.

Now off September, Uber can no longer operate. But Uber is still allowed to pave in London during the appeals process.

Uber operational license in London officially ends at the end of this month. But they still have 21 days to appeal. While the appeal process is incomplete, Uber may still operate there.

Uber first arrived in London five years ago. "There are 3.5 million Londoners using our app, and more than licensed drivers seeking revenue at Uber will feel the impact of this decision," said Tom Elvidge, General Manager of Uber in London.

Earlier a Business Insider source said he was not convinced that Uber would get a long-term license extension in London. Even if it is still allowed, the license remains in the form of short-term.

Uber briefly waited for a license renewal from Transport for London (TfL), the city's transportation authority, for a five-year duration. Currently Uber only holds a four-month license, and that too soon ends.

There are a number of reasons Uber has gotten such huge public pressure in London. First is the rejection of regular taxi drivers.

The regular taxi driver believes Uber is dumping their income. They also accused Uber of being unsafe for passengers, referring to reports of past sexual harassment.

In addition, Uber's own driver partners also have a complaint in terms of wage value that they can be too small. Though their working hours are long.

The other burden that Uber must bear in London is the trial that determines the driver's status whether to remain a "partner" or "worker". To make matters worse, Uber must face the pressure of politicians who capitalize on the issue.

London became one of Uber's most important markets in Europe, which is also the city's status with the largest Uber driver in the UK. Business Insider notes there are about 40,000 Uber drivers there. The loss of London would be a major blow to Uber's clean-up under the new CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi.

Not only in London, Uber is also in the public spotlight following an investigation of US legal authorities who find allegations of illegal business practices in a number of countries, including Indonesia. The investigation report called alleged bribery by Uber to the police to smooth the operational permits of one of their offices in Jakarta.

A number of driver partners seem to come to this office. Most are those who wish to register as Uber driver's partners, whether motorcycles or cars.

This office is also a place for those who want to fix the problematic application. In general, those who come for this reason are the drivers who get the punishment of a suspension from Uber so they can not operate.

"Earlier this morning, I want to tug, the application can not baseball. It they say because I never baseball wearing a jacket," said Andri, a resident of Kalideres who was denouncing the fate of this operational office.

While the atmosphere inside Uber's office seemed calmer. There appears to be an orderly queue of visitors who wait their turn, until served by the officers.

Loss

A local housing security official said that this Uber office had invited complaints from residents. The reason, the traffic in the residential area so too crowded and cause congestion.

He explained that the peak of congestion usually occurs when school hours break up. Because, the pickup must pass in front of Uber's office is always crowded.

"In this office there has also been a demo, but the demo of the driver himself," said the man who did not want to be named.

Currently, Uber is being hit by an alleged bribery case against the local police related to the operational location permit of one of his offices in Jakarta. US authorities are said to be investigating the fraud issue.

One problem faced by Uber is the alleged use of an office that is not in the business zone. But up to now, the question of which office location is questionable is still a question mark.

When Panzada.com tried to contact Uber's management to confirm this allegation, Uber's management was silent. Uber Indonesia Public Relations Manager, Dian Safitri threw it to the public relations agency of the company.

While Uber's public relations agency when contacted said Uber still refused to comment on this issue. "Currently, the Uber can not provide a statement to answer these questions," the agency wrote.

A Bloomberg report reveals alleged Uber cheating in a number of countries including Indonesia. The findings show Uber using different schemes in five countries.

US law authorities have not explained in detail the violation of law as what is done by Uber. But there is the possibility of his actions involving bribes as well.

While in India the problem is a former Uber executive named Eric Alexander. Alexander is under surveillance for having held documentary records of rape victims in India. The victim was raped while riding in Uber's car service. The culprit is the driver's partner Uber itself.

Alexander deviated the document to find ways to prevent local competitors from using it as Uber's pruning weapon in India. He was with former CEO and founder Uber Travis Kalanick and another former Uber executive named Emil Michael learned of the incident.

The US Department of Justice in his investigation found Uber's alleged illegal practices. They allegedly violated the regulation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
